All high set homes e.g. a Queenslander with an enclosed room under the house must have a smoke alarm installed.
All smoke alarms must be interconnected either by being wired together, connected using wireless technology, or a mixture of these two technologies.
All alarms must be either hard-wired 240V or have a non-replaceable 10-year lifespan lithium battery.
