smoke alarms alerT
A Few Seconds Can Save Everything
A house fire can engulf a room in minutes. But a compliant smoke alarm setup buys you time to escape. Interconnected photoelectric smoke alarms alert everyone in the home the moment danger is detected — even in rooms where there’s no smoke yet.
Queensland Legislation for Homeowners
If you’re living in Queensland, it is now law that: From 1 January 2027, all private residential homes must be fitted with interconnected photoelectric smoke alarms in every bedroom, in hallways outside bedrooms, and on every level. This means if you’re planning to sell or lease your home, or simply want to protect your loved ones, compliant alarms must be installed and maintained.

Installed in bedrooms, hallways, and every level
Alarms interconnected via a wireless or hardwired setup
What Happens If
You’re Not Compliant?
You may not be able to legally sell or rent your home in the future without upgrades.
Your insurance claim could be affected in the event of a fire if your alarms were non-functional or non-compliant.
You’re putting lives at risk — especially during night-time fires when early detection is critical.
